The kit comes with an NOS American Germanium PNP Transistor, PCB Board w/parts, Jacks, Potentiometer, Knob, Enclosure, Hookup wire, and a high quality 3PDT stomp switch. But dont think this isnt a good hifi rig, you can use lots of tube combos for hours for tweaking. Cross it over with a sub or as a sweet tweeter amp. Great intro to building. The set includes our 5F2 Power transformer, 22699 Choke, and TF-103 Output transformer. The TF-103 has the added flexiblity of ultra-linear taps if you wish to use them. The Power transformer also adds a center tap to the filament and a 60V bias tap if you wish to convert to fixed bias. This bundle is great for replacing blown or upgrading the worn out trannys in your fender, also works great for DIY projects. If you use 6bq5 you can get that vox kalamazoo vibe. Nanofarads are 1000 times the size of a picofarad, and 1/1000th the size of a microfarad, eg: .047 uF = 47 nF = 47,000 pF.Nanofarads are usually seen in European equipment. In old units, capacitors were usually made in increments of 5 , .05 or .005 uF. Later this was replaced by the "preferred value" system (where values are such that 10% tolerances just overlap). It's OK to replace, for example, a .05 capacitor with a .047, a .03 with a .033, a 30 uF with a 33 uF or 40 uF with 47 uF.
