These Power Supply boards replace the original can capacitor in Dynaco PAS-2, PAS-3 and PAS-3X. Fits on standoff that originally held the filament supply rectifier. No cutting or drilling required to install, just bolt in, hook up the wires and go! This PAS capacitor board kit replaces the original aluminum can capacitor and increases power supply capacity from the original 80 uF (30-20-20-20) to nearly 350 uF (47-100-100-100 uF) of better quality that the can capacitor parts, and also replaces the DC filament capacitors & diodes as well. Either the 12X4 tube rectifier or solid-state diodes may be used. One board is required per preamplifier. Note that if you buy a blank board, the board capacitors must be radial snap-in types and cannot exceed 25mm diameter. In all cases the first section should not exceed 50 uF if a tube rectifier is used. One can use these boards for homebrew projects, any Panasonic TS series (or equiv such as Sprague 80D or 82D) that don't exceed diameter limits can be used, taller ones can be used if you have clearance.
